JackSprat gives you even more memory!
m505/m500 EFIGS owners can now get 1.7M of flash memory with JackSprat and JackFlash.
m505/m500 Palms sold outside of North America have five languages installed: English, French, Italian, German and Spanish (EFIGS). This allows Palm to distribute one model to many markets, but uses up most of the Flash space that would otherwise be available for extra memory.
JackSprat lets you remove the languages on your Palm that you are not using. Removing these extra languages frees up the flash space for use with JackFlash or FlashPro. JackSprat fully backs up your original ROM so that, if necessary, you can restore those languages later.
To see if you have an EFIGS m500/m505 Palm, download JackFlash Light and check to see how much free flash is available with JackFlash. If it is only 448k, then you need JackSprat!
