What is this?

WeekY: shows all appointments for a week in a glance on a Palm Computingฎ Connected Organizer.

Time++: shows an analog clock after a tap on the title of WeekY.

StartWeeky Hack: start WeekY after a tap on the week button in Date Book or in ActionNames.

I. Usage

II. Installation

Installation of WeekY, Time++ and StartWeekY Hack is just like any other Palm program. Installation of Time++ and StartWeekY Hack is optional.
StartWeeky Hack needs HackMaster (or an equivalent) en needs to be activated in this program.

During development of this applications, extensive testing has occurred, both on actual PDA devices of various types, and on the Palm OS emulator. All efforts have been made to insure the application performs as designed, however, as with all development environments, future findings of limitations or operating flaws may occur.

III. System Requirements

Requires Palm OS 2.0 or greater. StartWeekY Hack needs HackMaster or an equivalent.

IV. Preferences

The following Preferences can be set to tune these applications to your likings.

WeekY

On start-up go to:

	If set to 'last date' the
	application will remem-
	ber the week displayed
	the last time the
	application was active
	and return to that week
	on start-up. The first
	time the application is
	started on a new day
	will always show the
	current week.

Button:

	If 'Datebk' is checked
	pressing the Datebook
	button will start
	Weekview. Pressing the
	button again will start
	Datebook.

Show title:

	Controls the information
	displayed in the title:
	• Week nbr: show the
	  week number;
	• Week +/-: show the
	  number of weeks
	  from the current
	  week. This works only
	  in the current year.

Current date:

	To mark today use:
	• Bold: use the bold font
	  for today's appoint-
	  ments.
	• Frame: put a frame
	  around the current
	  day.

Appointments:

	Control the information
	displayed for appoint-
	ments:
	• Mark private: under-
	  line first 2 characters
	  of private (secret)
	  records;
	• Show time: show the
	  start time of appoint-
	  ments;
	• Short time: abbreviate
	  the displayed time;
	• Leading zero: display
	  a zero by times before
	  10 o clock.

Details:

	Control the information
	displayed on the Details
	screen:
	• x seconds: after this
	  period the Details
	  screen automatically
	  disappears;
	• Private: mark private
	  (secret) records with
	  the supplied character;
	• Alarm: show alarm
	  indicator if alarm is set;
	• Repeat: show repeat
	  indicator if applicable;
	• Note: if appointment
	  has a note indicate this.

Time++

Write graffite characters to
toggle options:
	• a 	= Auto-off in Time++;
	• b 	= Blank background;
	• d 	= Date;
	• f   	= Frame;
	• m 	= Markers.

StartWeekY Hack

When Date Book (or Action Names) is put under the Date Book button (so uncheck the Datebk option in WeekY Preferences), repeatingly pressing the button will cycle through the different views. Weeky will replace the week view.

If you desire to be added to the distribution list for upgrades, email me and I will advise you on future upgrades.
